A New Day and New Hope...

Strength will rise when we wait upon the Lord. It's true. When we place all of our hope in God whose strength is made perfect in our weakness we watch him move mountains. Sometimes the mountain is moved one boulder at a time. I think sometimes I expect him to just pick it up and move it all at once and not to limit our God because if that is what he chooses to do then that is what he will do. However it doesn't seem to work that way.
God has blown us away yet again by bringing help to us that we could have never orchestrated on our own, ever. He seemed to do it one moment at a time bringing us to a place were we can see HIS hand clearly touching our lives and the people around our lives as well. This whole adoption journey is not just about our family. We have met so many amazing families along the way on the same journey. We could never walk this road alone and we could never just walk by a fellow traveler and not reach out to try and help them along this very emotional, confusing, frustrating and long road. God knows that and gave us other people to come along side us. What a wonderful and beautiful gift.
We have a big decision to make Monday, well we already believe God has helped us make that decision, we just have to have the courage and faith to follow through. I can honestly say that we are excited about this and know that God has already blessed this. The fact that God has placed people all around us that are praying for us and working on our behalf is overwhelming sometimes. We feel completely immersed in the love of God by his people.
Denny said to God today "thank you for choosing us" choosing us to be the parents of these two amazing and beautiful children. For some reason that struck me this morning. I thank God often for allowing me to be Talon's mother - but I guess I never thought about being "chosen" for this role of parent, Mama, teacher, leader...these children, all of our children our God's children and that fact that he would chose us? Wow.
We look forward to tomorrow with great expectation of what God is going to do, what he has already done! God says He knows the plans he has for us :) so this is not new to him.
